District Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform complex machine diagnosis and major component removal and replacement
• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on various rental equipment
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts following DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation of work orders daily
• Travel up to 90% of the work week within the assigned district and region
• Support, evaluate, and coach other technicians in the field

Requirements

• Must own tools applicable to the position
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel weekly and stay overnight for short or long periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
• Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or Trade school certificate
• Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair
