District Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the progress of construction and heavy maintenance works within the assigned area
• Conduct regular field inspections and monitor subcontractor performance
• Ensure quality of works and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
• Verify measurements, certifications, and technical data for work reports
• Participate in coordinating on-site and laboratory quality tests and geometric controls
• Identify deviations or technical issues and recommend corrective actions to the Construction & Asset Manager
• Support technical and contractual correspondence management
• Monitor and ensure the implementation of Health & Safety procedures in the field
• Contribute to the collection and maintenance of technical data for the Technical File and Asset Management System
• Participate in technical meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field
• 5–8 years of experience in road infrastructure or large-scale projects
• Strong understanding of technical studies, specifications, and construction procedures
• Familiarity with measurements, certifications, and technical project documentation
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
