Distribution Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise union staff within the cooler department and manage daily shipping tasks.
• Maintain and direct the daily shipping schedule to ensure efficiency.
• Verify proper items and lot codes are shipped correctly.
• Manage manpower by scheduling staff for all shifts and auditing time schedules using Kronos.
• Organize and maintain all equipment associated with shipping and receiving.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Control, R&D, and Warehouse departments.
• Assist in inventory procedures, including product counting and recounting.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in safe condition by managing work orders and notifying maintenance of issues.
• Promote safety policies and corporate GMPs while maintaining team morale.

Requirements

• 5 years of logistics experience.
• Prior supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma with at least two years of higher education (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to support non-standard hours during critical project phases.
