Distribution Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping operations during the overnight shift in a 24/7 distribution center environment
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of hourly distribution associates to meet business goals and performance standards
• Manage talent-related decisions including hiring, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions in partnership with HR
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Lean methodologies
• Manage KPIs, payroll accuracy, and resource utilization to improve workflow efficiencies
• Ensure a safe and controlled work environment by maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Prioritize work assignments and handle multiple tasks to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment

Requirements

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in distribution supervision
• Experience with Lean distribution implementation, including 5S and facilitating Kaizen events
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to stand and walk for approximately 90% of the work shift
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and occasional weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PowerBI
• Experience navigating cloud-based programs such as SharePoint
