Distribution Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and supervise loadout personnel
• Manage daily receiving, storing, and shipping of materials
• Oversee load accuracy, stock control, and reconciliation
• Organize, schedule, and track carrier shipments and optimize routes
• Use TMS and Jalapeno systems to identify bottlenecks and improve productivity
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
• Monitor team performance against established KPIs
• Optimize resource allocation including workloads and equipment
• Support overall distribution volume, including helping drivers or working overtime as needed

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics
• Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulatory requirements
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and delegate effectively
• Experience training others on new processes
• Aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or certification in Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or TPM
• Experience conducting root cause analysis investigations
