Distribution Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day distribution operations to ensure customer demand is met efficiently.
• Maintain supply reliability and ensure all medical gas deliveries comply with FDA standards and quality assurance systems.
• Schedule the delivery of packaged and cryogenic products to meet internal goals and customer expectations.
• Train the Distribution Team in all aspects of safety and quality systems and requirements.
• Monitor distribution efficiencies and staffing levels to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Lead safety initiatives, including administering training, conducting evaluations, and overseeing accident investigations.
• Control costs by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting cost-efficient shipment methods.
• Drive productivity and operational efficiency while providing job training to foster career development.

Requirements

• High school diploma (college degree strongly preferred).
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Distribution, Logistics, or Transportation.
• Knowledge of regulatory agency requirements including FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in a Union environment.
