Distribution Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate shipments of orders by managing assigned business areas efficiently and safely
• Utilize and maintain compliance with inventory control and warehouse management systems
• Leverage metrics and analytics to report on progress, including cost per case and inventory levels
• Partner with internal Business Unit clients to align operations with customer expectations
• Manage departmental procedures, SOPs, and work instructions, ensuring all associates receive proper training
• Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing levels and manage fluctuating workloads
• Lead and develop staff through coaching, conducting meetings, and managing personnel actions
• Monitor and correct associates regarding Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Maintain a safety-first environment by adhering to proper operating practices and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Associate degree with 2+ years related experience, or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years related experience)
• Minimum of 2+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
• Operational experience in FDA, OSHA, or GMP/QSR compliance
• Proficiency with inventory and warehouse management systems such as JDE, High Jump, or MFG-Pro
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and delegate effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CPIM, Logistics, or Distribution
• Knowledge of Process Excellence, Lean, and ISO standards
• Strong project management skills
