Distribution On-the-job Trainer (OJT)

Responsibilities

• Provide certification and recertification training for operational stations in Production, Warehouse, Returns, and other assigned areas
• Track individual contact hours by course, cell, and shift
• Assist the training manager in preparing monthly training forecasts
• Identify training needs, including OJT development and continuous process improvement for training delivery
• Act as a conduit between floor management and the training manager, communicating concerns from production and warehouse teams
• Develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, and computer tutorials
• Assist with trainee testing to measure progress and evaluate program effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on SOE reviews, new product rollouts, and process evaluations
• Flex across various shifts to support site needs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree or 4 years of Manufacturing Operations experience
• One year of related training experience
• One year of computer experience
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Forms, etc.)
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful completion of MFG Training Department OJT Trainer Certification
• Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing environment
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
