Distribution Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Shipping/Receiving Department and master distribution center operations
• Prioritize safety through consistent leadership, monthly training, audits, and incident documentation
• Achieve on-time shipping targets and maintain inventory accuracy via established KPI and cycle count processes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with quarterly reporting
• Manage team performance through regular meetings, performance audits, corrective action, and annual reviews
• Develop and maintain procedure documentation and ensure associate compliance
• Oversee facility operations including opening/closing, payroll processing, and equipment approvals
• Partner with HR on recruiting, hiring, interviewing, and employee development

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Functional knowledge of SAP or similar ERP programs and WMS experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain proactive professional relationships across departments
