Distribution Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all storage functions, inventory control, inbound/outbound freight, and operational procedures at the distribution center.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, legislative, and organizational policies and practices.
• Plan and manage operational activities including receiving, picking, shipping, and support activities to meet company objectives.
• Optimize warehouse design and space requirements to prevent loss or damage.
• Monitor and administer inventory levels to achieve operational and financial goals.
• Supervise a team of associates and warehouse supervisors, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Prepare financial projections and forecasts while managing expenses within established budgets.
• Develop continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices with the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, Customs, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Distribution.
• At least 5 years of experience supervising personnel.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience working with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in warehouse management and transportation management.
• Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
• Strong understanding of departmental interdependencies within logistics operations.
