About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections on compressors, pumps, turbines, motors, gearboxes, and other rotating systems.
- Support and maintain water treatment systems, gas-fired vaporizers, hydrogen generators, and related process equipment.
- Conduct periodic inspections and support root cause analysis programs for major equipment failures.
- Assist with turnaround planning, cost estimation, and the resolution of chronic mechanical asset concerns.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities within the computerized maintenance management system.
- Perform field work including accessing elevated equipment via ladders, scaffolding, man-lifts, or crane baskets.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of compressors, turbines, blowers, and heat exchangers.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices for industrial mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with precision measuring devices and performing precision alignment on multi-train equipment.
- Hands-on experience with vibration analysis and dynamic balancing.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb, work at heights, and perform confined space entry.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and provide call-in coverage as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a machinist or millwright apprenticeship.
- Familiarity with enterprise asset management (EAM) systems.
