Distribution Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up, change over, and operate packaging machines including Packsize, Automailer, and CVP
• Maintain and monitor machine functionality to ensure quality and efficiency
• Perform minor preventative maintenance and identify potential issues to minimize downtime
• Verify carton contents and ensure all packaging meets quality standards
• Arrange carton contents efficiently to minimize shipping costs
• Track and maintain machine output on an hourly basis
• Train new operators on machine operations and responsibilities
• Execute daily 5S activities, including organization, safety, and housekeeping
• Follow all standard work, safety standards, and company policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly
• Basic PC skills and ability to utilize software for machine operation
• Technical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment maintenance
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
