Distribution Lead

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities for distribution employees and participate in day-to-day warehouse duties.
• Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts, data entry, report generation, and reconciliation.
• Function as a Subject Matter Expert and point person for questions from distribution teams.
• Expedite critical shipments as required to meet operational needs.
• Support the training of warehouse employees and participate in system upgrades or implementations.
• Enforce all OSHA, FDA, and ISO rules and regulations to ensure a safe workplace.
• Note: This is a weekend shift position with hours from Friday to Sunday, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in distribution or warehouse environments.
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse or distribution leadership experience.
• Strong familiarity with MS Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and work in a moderate to high noise environment.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Oracle.
• Prior experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Experience with HighJump and/or Compass Conveyor systems.
• Relevant certifications or advanced education.
