Distribution Lead

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities for distribution employees and function as a subject matter expert on core processes.
• Participate in day-to-day warehouse duties, including shipping, receiving, and storing materials or finished goods.
• Perform inventory control activities such as cycle counts, data entry, report generation, and reconciliation.
• Expedite critical shipments and serve as the primary point of contact for distribution team questions.
• Support the training of warehouse employees and participate in system upgrades, testing, or implementations.
• Enforce all OSHA, FDA, and ISO rules and regulations to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (combination of education and experience considered).
• Minimum of 1 year of distribution or warehouse leadership experience.
• Strong familiarity with MS Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed.
• Physical ability to walk, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 40lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Oracle.
• Prior experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Prior experience with HighJump and/or Compass Conveyor systems.
• Relevant certifications or advanced education.
