About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure system reliability and overall economics through engineering analysis and system planning
- Resolve technical questions and communicate line extension policies to members
- Design line extensions and improvements and coordinate construction execution
- Manage and monitor the Advanced Metering Information (AMI) platform
- Monitor and dispatch outages using Outage Management System (OMS) tools
- Investigate new technologies and conduct studies on system performance and power quality
- Develop standards for construction, materials, and engineering
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, technology, or a related field
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in operations
- Familiarity with electric distribution line equipment and materials
- Knowledge of NEC, NESC, IEEE, and OSHA standards
