Distribution Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Create routes based on DOT weight regulations and space utilization
• Execute loadout plans and direct loadout associates
• Load grocery products onto delivery trucks to maximize space and prevent damage
• Secure loads and unload return items from trailers
• Clean and organize production materials including pallets and RPCs
• Process recyclable materials such as gel packs and silver liners
• Conduct visual inspections of products for freshness and quality compliance
• Maintain accurate records of outgoing shipments and shipment documents
• Ensure all loads are DOT compliant and adhere to safety protocols

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Proficient in email, Slack, and spreadsheets
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment (36 degrees)
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
• Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Produce-handling experience
• Food safety certification
• Basic produce knowledge
• Experience with Google Suite Applications
• Previous experience in warehouse operations
