Distribution Clerk

Responsibilities

• Process outbound loads through SAP, including cutting lanes, canceling pick tickets, and deleting shipments
• Verify load completeness and readiness to ship using PKMS and EBOL
• Manage driver traffic through direct communication with drivers and dispatch
• Coordinate live load appointments, arrivals, and door placement with the console
• Work with inventory control to resolve post-shipping errors and process PGI loads for invoicing
• Research load investigations, including missing BOLs, lost freight, and packing lists
• Contact carriers via email, fax, or phone to ensure timely notifications and pickups
• Maintain filing systems for finished loads and track specific accounts through the N drive
• Assist visitors and deliveries, and route phone calls or security gate questions as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to work B-Shift (6AM-6PM)
• Ability to work overtime on the last day of the month (including weekends if necessary)
• Must not be in any active attendance or disciplinary steps

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in traffic control or as a backup clerk
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution environments
• Some college education
