Distribution Center Senior HR Generalist

Responsibilities

• Drive HR strategy by aligning site practices with broader company goals to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Partner with site leadership to implement HR programs that support operational performance and business results.
• Manage performance and talent development, including workforce planning, engagement, and compensation planning.
• Oversee hiring and onboarding processes in partnership with recruiting and shared services.
• Deliver training across leadership, compliance, and associate development topics.
• Conduct investigations and ensure strict adherence to federal and state employment laws.
• Promote a positive, engaging, and legally compliant workplace culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years supporting site operations.
• Proven experience in industrial or distribution environments with large hourly populations.
• Experience supporting union avoidance strategies.
• Proficiency with HR systems (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work onsite in Fort Payne, AL, with monthly travel to Fulton, MS.

Preferred Qualifications

• HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM.
• Experience coaching and influencing leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting.
