Distribution Center Loader

Responsibilities

• Stage products on pallets, shrink-wrap to prevent loss, and load pallets onto trucks
• Inspect trailers for suitability before loading to ensure safe transportation
• Ensure correct parts are placed on the correct trucks with accuracy and speed
• Operate pallet jacks or forklifts as needed to move merchandise
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage techniques
• Keep work areas clean to avoid accidents and allow for rapid loading
• Pull stock orders and assist with processing DC shuttles as required
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience
• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 60 lbs
• Ability to push/pull up to 300 lbs using mechanical aids like hand trucks or hydraulic lifts
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire work shift
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach shelves up to eight feet
• Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers accurately

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification
