Distribution Center Assistant

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders from stored inventory while meeting customer requirements and inspection processes
• Ship orders within established time commitments and complete all necessary documentation
• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials and products against written orders
• Return defective materials and ensure all shipping labels and packing lists are accurate
• Identify and participate in opportunities to improve warehouse processes and performance metrics
• Maintain and update inventory systems as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, and twist for prolonged periods
• Ability to work at heights exceeding 15 feet

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification
