About the role
Responsibilities
- Bridge system memory architecture with AI model behavior through HW/SW co-design to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Analyze system bandwidth, latency, and compute bottlenecks across CPU, GPU, and NPU.
- Model and simulate workload execution, including resource contention and PnP tradeoffs.
- Optimize model execution strategies such as initialization time, caching, and KV reuse.
- Define long-term technology roadmaps and strategic visions for electrical hardware design.
- Partner with ML teams to align model structures with system architecture.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and consultation for new product development across multiple organizations.
- Drive industry-leading research and development to address future growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of professional work experience, preferably in electrical design, hardware architecture, or electronic hardware.
- Deep knowledge of memory architecture and AI model design.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and system simulations.
- Strong expertise in hardware design, including FPGA, PCB, and schematic capture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with new product development and cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technology roadmaps to executive staff and industry partners.
- Advanced understanding of computer science and systems design.
