About the role

Responsibilities

  • Bridge system memory architecture with AI model behavior through HW/SW co-design to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Analyze system bandwidth, latency, and compute bottlenecks across CPU, GPU, and NPU.
  • Model and simulate workload execution, including resource contention and PnP tradeoffs.
  • Optimize model execution strategies such as initialization time, caching, and KV reuse.
  • Define long-term technology roadmaps and strategic visions for electrical hardware design.
  • Partner with ML teams to align model structures with system architecture.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and consultation for new product development across multiple organizations.
  • Drive industry-leading research and development to address future growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 12+ years of professional work experience, preferably in electrical design, hardware architecture, or electronic hardware.
  • Deep knowledge of memory architecture and AI model design.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and system simulations.
  • Strong expertise in hardware design, including FPGA, PCB, and schematic capture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with new product development and cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technology roadmaps to executive staff and industry partners.
  • Advanced understanding of computer science and systems design.
