Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow

Responsibilities

• Conduct research experiments within the predetermined research scope and methodology of the department and university
• Collect and analyze data, including performing literature searches and utilizing specialized analytical skills
• Participate in and assist with manuscript writing for scientific journals and presentations
• Assist in grant writing processes to support research initiatives
• Perform lab maintenance, including equipment upkeep and ordering supplies as required

Requirements

• Doctorate Degree (PhD) in a relevant field
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to manage complex data sets
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary research environment

• Proven ability to develop innovative methods for studying brain and behavior
• Demonstrated potential to build sustainable collaborations across research programs
• Experience or potential for pursuing impactful research with strong potential for external funding
