Dispute Analyst

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer disputes across P2P, debit/credit card, and ACH transactions
• Validate chargeback rights and ensure documentation completeness for network disputes
• Manage provisional credits in adherence to Regulation E and NACHA rules
• Maintain detailed case documentation for audit readiness
• Collaborate with Fraud and Compliance teams to resolve complex cases
• Respond to representments, pre-arbitration, and final network decisions
• Monitor dispute aging and ensure all filing deadlines are met
• Communicate resolution outcomes to customers professionally
• Identify dispute trends to provide insights for process improvements
• Support audits and quality assurance reviews

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience handling debit or credit card disputes
• Strong knowledge of Regulation E, NACHA rules, and Visa/Mastercard guidelines
• Experience managing end-to-end consumer disputes across multiple payment types
• Excellent written communication skills for compliant case notes and customer responses
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Familiarity with dispute systems, case management platforms, and CRM tools
• Analytical and investigative mindset
• Must meet U.S. ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as ETA CPP or CFE
