Dispensing Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Interpret and enter prescription information accurately
• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists and clinicians
• Label, fill, and prepare prescriptions for verification
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations and handle special storage medications
• Prepare medications and supplies like syringes and sharps containers
• Manage inbound inquiries and outbound medication adherence outreach
• Secure refill prescriptions and resolve insurance or financial aid issues
• Maintain pharmacy inventory through ordering, receiving, and organizing
• Support operational processes via data entry and claim adjudication

Requirements

• Registered pharmacy technician in the state of Oregon
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and private data with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

• National CPhT certification or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
