Dispensary Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, accurate, and efficient dispensary services
• Support clinical screening and accuracy checking processes
• Deliver high-quality medicines information to patients and healthcare professionals
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians, and MDT colleagues
• Ensure compliance with legal, professional, and organisational standards
• Contribute to audits, service development, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold robust governance practices

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Previous NHS hospital experience
• Strong understanding of dispensary processes and medicines legislation
• Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
