Dispatcher/Building Materials Specialist

Responsibilities

• Central dispatching of own and third-party delivery vehicles
• Determination of required loading space, vehicle category, and loading/delivery aids
• Coordination of delivery dates with customers, colleagues, and drivers while considering economic interests
• Optimization of services through IT-supported route planning using telematics systems
• Ensuring and improving the service level and economic efficiency of the department
• Compliance with social, transport, dangerous goods, and hazardous substances regulations

Requirements

• Completed commercial training in logistics, wholesale/foreign trade management, or similar
• Knowledge of classic building material trade product groups is an advantage
• Ideally initial experience in dispatching or transport control
• Ideally initial experience with SAP R/3 modules SD and MM
• Independent, responsible working style and ability to work in a team
• Good MS Office skills
