Dispatcher/Building Materials Clerk for Fleet Dispatching

Responsibilities

• Central dispatching of internal and external delivery vehicles
• Determination of required loading space, vehicle category, and loading/delivery aids
• Coordination of delivery dates with customers, colleagues, and drivers while considering economic interests
• Optimization of services through IT-supported route planning using telematics systems
• Ensuring and improving the service level and economic efficiency of the department
• Compliance with social, transport, dangerous goods, and hazardous substances regulations

Requirements

• Completed training as a wholesale/foreign trade clerk, freight forwarding clerk, warehouse logistics specialist, or professional driver
• Sound knowledge of various product groups in the classic building materials trade
• Ideally initial experience in dispatching or transport control
• Ideally initial experience with SAP R/3 modules SD and MM
• Reliable, independent, and responsible working style
• High resilience, service orientation, teamwork, and flexibility
• Good MS Office skills
