Dispatcher Transport

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between Sales, Customers, and Terminal management
• Resolve and communicate customer concerns or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
• Promote a safe work environment and foster a team mentality
• Maintain D.O.T. driver’s hours of service daily logs for internal drivers or external contractors
• Monitor equipment maintenance schedules to ensure D.O.T. compliance
• Collaborate with Terminal management to provide solutions for more effective and efficient output

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• 2-5 years of Customer Service experience
• Proficient in Windows Office suite
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress office environment
• Capability to work extended hours, including weekends, as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of trucking software
• General knowledge of cement and building materials
