Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person
• Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls from customers and technicians
• Collect and enter customer information
• Field customer questions and complaints and escalate when necessary
• Ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer concerns
• Maintain customer accounts and records of interactions
• Schedule projects for technicians and manage them with detail
• Communicate customer needs to technicians via appointment summaries
• Determine service eligibility based on customer requests

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous dispatch experience
• Experience in booking appointments
• Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and active listening skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
• Ability to memorize scripts and company pricing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the trades (Plumbing, Electrical, or HVAC)
• Experience in Finance or Accounting
