Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Assign and dispatch workers according to job requirements while respecting collective agreement clauses
• Respond to calls from both workers and clients
• Maintain and update employee files, including driver's licenses, vacation time, and training records
• Record time tracking and all elements related to payroll
• Participate in the on-call rotation to respond to emergency calls

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in dispatching
• Experience working in a unionized environment is preferred
• Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude
• Legally authorized to work and reside in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma in transport logistics
