Dispatcher/Logistics Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders by answering phones and negotiating schedule times to optimize truck demand
• Analyze order information to solve problems and choose the best delivery solutions
• Dynamically adjust daily delivery schedules to respond to unforeseen changes and optimize service
• Coordinate with drivers on-site to improve customer service and delivery efficiency
• Collaborate with Sales and Administration departments to ensure proper project entry and procedure compliance
• Document daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence
• Handle high call volumes and manage C.O.D. processes for orders taken

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Dispatch or Logistics
• Strong geographic knowledge of local areas for efficient scheduling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
• Strong mathematical skills for calculating units of measure

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree
• Client Services Certification
