Dispatcher/Customer Service Rep

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for monitoring underground and surface mining activities
• Load trucks with quality blended coal according to specific requirements
• Monitor and record tracking and communication systems for underground operations
• Direct and answer incoming phone calls, intercompany communications, and radio traffic
• Monitor and report on the underground mining system and log any issues
• Integrate with surface operations to manage the flow of coal through feeders, belts, and screen towers
• Generate and distribute daily reports, including truck, OEE, Pre-Ops, and coal quality comparisons
• Utilize ash analyzers to interpret data and direct coal loading and stockpiling
• Coordinate emergency responses and manage surface medical response kits

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 16-Hour MSHA Surface Certification (training provided if selected)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must live within 60 miles of Hesperus, CO, or be willing to relocate
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree
• 2-3 years of related experience in a similar role
