Dispatcher Assistant

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate truck routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Assign loads to drivers based on availability, location, and delivery deadlines
• Monitor driver progress and provide real-time updates to customers and internal teams
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel to resolve issues
• Track and report on transportation metrics, including on-time performance and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Address operational challenges such as delays, breakdowns, or schedule changes
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including trip logs and driver hours
• Work with fleet maintenance teams to ensure vehicle availability and optimal condition
• Provide professional customer service and handle inquiries or complaints
• Shift Schedule: Morning shift, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Requirements

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field
• Bilingualism in English and Chinese
