Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize driver routes to ensure maximum truck fleet utilization
• Assign routes to drivers using in-house software
• Respond to internal customer calls professionally and efficiently
• Document calls and perform follow-ups in the computer system
• Act as the primary resource for drivers regarding working hours and problem resolution
• Weigh trucks on scales and enter data into the system
• Process customs paperwork for USA drivers
• Maintain and track daily inventory in supply yards

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar dispatch position
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Extensive geographic knowledge of Québec, Ontario, and New Brunswick
• Availability outside of business hours for driver emergencies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dispatch software (Samsara)

Preferred Qualifications

• Class 1 driver's license
• Bilingualism (spoken and written)
