About the role
Responsibilities
- Planning and organizing driver routes optimally to ensure maximum use of the truck fleet
- Assigning routes to drivers using custom software
- Answering internal customer calls efficiently, courteously, and professionally
- Entering information into the computer system to document calls and perform follow-ups
- Acting as the point of contact for drivers regarding working hours and resolving issues
- Weighing trucks on scales and integrating data into the system
- Processing customs paperwork requests for U.S. drivers
- Maintaining and monitoring inventory in supply yards on a daily basis
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
- Extensive knowledge of geographic regions in Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes, and Maine
- Availability outside of regular working hours to handle driver emergencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Samsara dispatch software
- Bilingualism in spoken and written communication is an asset
