Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize driver routes to maximize truck fleet utilization
• Assign routes to drivers using proprietary software
• Respond to internal client calls efficiently and professionally
• Enter information into the computer system to document calls and follow-ups
• Act as a resource for drivers regarding working hours and problem-solving
• Weigh trucks on scales and integrate data into the system
• Process customs paperwork for US drivers
• Maintain and track daily inventory in supply yards

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
• Extensive knowledge of Quebec geographic regions
• Availability outside of business hours to manage driver emergencies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dispatch software (Samsara)
• Bilingualism (oral and written) is an asset
