About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize driver routes to maximize truck fleet utilization
- Assign routes to drivers using proprietary software
- Respond to internal client calls efficiently and professionally
- Enter information into the computer system to document calls and follow-ups
- Act as a resource for drivers regarding working hours and problem-solving
- Weigh trucks on scales and integrate data into the system
- Process customs paperwork for US drivers
- Maintain and track daily inventory in supply yards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
- Extensive knowledge of Quebec geographic regions
- Availability outside of business hours to manage driver emergencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dispatch software (Samsara)
- Bilingualism (oral and written) is an asset
