Dispatch Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Assist and review UPS Small Package dispatch activity to ensure timely service, safety, and cost goals are met.
• Coordinate dispatch planning, staffing, and equipment levels to meet transportation needs.
• Oversee load and tractor planning, monitor load movements, and track equipment condition.
• Manage yard operations by coordinating drivers with load volume and ensuring accurate trailer inventory.
• Review driver hours for regulatory compliance and conduct hazardous materials audits.
• Review safety reports and verify the use of safe work methods and appropriate uniforms.
• Determine employee training needs, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, National, or authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent.
• Previous management experience.
