Dispatch Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise all drivers and manage day-to-day operations across various facilities and bulk terminals
• Dispatch Brenntag drivers to support LTL, Bulk, and Transfer business areas
• Manage fleet care, services, and documentation, including PMs and annual inspections
• Coordinate shipping appointments, pickups, and inbound shipments with Material Management
• Process driver paperwork, receipts, reimbursements, and review DOT logs
• Improve asset utilization and efficient routing to reduce common carrier spend
• Communicate daily with customer service and materials management regarding order needs and product issues
• Manage payroll using Dayforce and utilize inventory/routing systems
• Serve as the point of contact for the emergency line after 5 pm

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in distribution with working knowledge of dispatching a fleet
• 3 years of supervisory or management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a bias for action

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience within the chemical industry
