Dispatch Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technician workflows by assigning repair orders based on skill level, availability, and priority
• Monitor job progress to ensure adherence to schedules and promised timelines
• Manage shop capacity by efficiently scheduling jobs and minimizing technician downtime
• Review repair orders for accuracy and clarity before assignment
• Maintain clear communication with service advisors, technicians, and the sales department regarding job status
• Track key performance metrics including technician productivity and Repair Event Cycle Time (RECT)
• Report daily performance results to the service manager to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in scheduling, workflow coordination, or a similar organizational role
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with scheduling software or dispatch tools
• Ability to analyze data to optimize operational workflows
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

• Familiarity with repair processes or technical workflows
