Dispatch Agent

Responsibilities

• Organize next-day deliveries in coordination with customer service representatives, considering orders, production availability, and vehicle availability.
• Assign necessary handling equipment and adjust schedules in real-time to manage unforeseen events such as breakdowns, incidents, or traffic.
• Optimize fleet utilization, propose daily sizing for spot vehicles, and monitor driver and carrier activity in compliance with contracts.
• Coordinate actions regarding delivery delays or cancellations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Baccalauréat in Transport or Logistics.
• Ideally 2 years of successful experience in a similar dispatch or logistics role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
