Dishwasher

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen surfaces in compliance with Public Health standards
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen, dishwashing, and dining areas to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Operate and maintain industrial dishwashing equipment and report any malfunctions
• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers
• Support dining operations by bussing tables and ensuring continuous availability of clean supplies
• Manage waste and recycling disposal to maintain kitchen efficiency
• Assist with kitchen closing tasks, including restocking and preparing workstations for the next shift
• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards by adhering to OH&S regulations

Requirements

• Completed grade 10
• Experience in hospitality, kitchen, or food service environments is an asset
• Ability to operate and maintain industrial dishwashing equipment safely
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration
