Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper

Responsibilities

• Set up the dining room and serve meals to clients
• Maintain dining room cleanliness, including tables, chairs, and floors
• Wash, dry, and store all kitchen dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
• Clean kitchen areas, equipment, stoves, fryers, ovens, and washrooms daily
• Sweep and wash floors in the kitchen, stockroom, and dining areas
• Restock washroom and cleaning supplies daily
• Assist with receiving and stocking food and kitchen supply orders
• Adhere to safe food handling and hygiene procedures to prevent cross-contamination
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow all health and safety policies

Requirements

• High school completion or equivalent
• Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Up to 3 months of related experience
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks like bending and kneeling
• Ability to provide a satisfactory Background Check
