Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper

Responsibilities

• Set up the dining room and serve meals to clients
• Maintain dining room cleanliness by tidying tables and chairs
• Wash, dry, and store all kitchen dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
• Sweep and wash floors in the kitchen, stockroom, washrooms, and dining area
• Clean kitchen equipment, stoves, fryers, ovens, and surfaces daily
• Restock cleaning and washroom supplies
• Assist with receiving and stocking food and kitchen supply orders
• Adhere to safe food handling and hygiene procedures to prevent cross-contamination
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow all health and safety policies

Requirements

• High school completion or equivalent
• Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks like bending and kneeling
• Successful completion of a vulnerable sector screening and background check
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
