Dishwasher/Kitchen Help

Responsibilities

• Set up the dining room and serve meals to clients
• Maintain dining room cleanliness by tidying tables and chairs
• Wash, dry, and store all kitchen dishes, pots, pans, and utensils
• Sweep and wash floors in the kitchen, stockroom, washrooms, and dining area
• Clean kitchen equipment, including stoves, fryers, and ovens, on a daily basis
• Restock cleaning and washroom supplies
• Assist with the preparation of simple meals and drinks
• Adhere to safe food handling procedures and hygiene standards
• Assist with receiving and stocking food and kitchen supply orders

Requirements

• High school completion or equivalent
• Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector screening
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Up to 3 months of related experience preferred
