Dishwasher

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times
• Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with policy and procedures
• Maintain dish room area in a neat, clean, and sanitary manner
• Keep kitchen floors clean and empty trash
• Check dish machine for chemicals and refill as needed
• Maintain dish machine and record temperature and sanitation levels into logs
• Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned
• Assist with the transportation and storage of food and supplies
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events and banquets

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive demeanor and "can-do" attitude
• Ability to build positive relationships with team members and residents
• Focused on providing excellent customer service
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
