About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times
- Wash and store all dishes and equipment in accordance with policy and procedures
- Keep kitchen floors clean and empty trash
- Monitor dish machine chemicals and sanitizing temperatures
- Record temperature and sanitation levels into logs
- Assist with transportation and storage of food and supplies
- Support cooks and wait staff as requested
- Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals
Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive demeanor and "can-do" attitude
- Ability to handle multiple jobs and priorities
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
