About the role
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans
- Replace clean dishes and cooking equipment based on station requirements
- Support kitchen operations by unloading deliveries and breaking down boxes
- Maintain cleanliness of food prep areas, coolers, storage areas, and restrooms
- Maintain dumpster areas and surrounding restaurant exterior
- Use proper chemicals according to handling instructions
- Upkeep of dish machine, sanitizer, trashcans, and linen bins
- Follow safety regulations and report hazardous conditions to Chefs
Requirements
- Ability to stand for a full shift
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environments
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends
- Ability to work in warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors
- Ability to tolerate potential exposure to allergens
- Must exemplify a team player with a positive attitude
