About the role

Responsibilities

Clean silverware, dishes, glasses, and all other kitchen and dining room accessories
Perform dishwashing duties in accordance with Health Department regulations and company policies
Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning floors, walk-in freezers, and refrigerators
Empty and clean all kitchen garbage barrels and take out trash and boxes
Clean kitchen equipment, tables, counters, stovetops, and grease traps
Clean sinks, disposals, dishwashing areas, and pot sinks
Wipe down and clean coffee, milk, juice, and ice-cream machines
Deliver soiled linen to the laundry room
Assist in putting orders away when requested
Report all safety incidents, accidents, and unsanitary conditions to the supervisor immediately

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
One year of dietary experience in a restaurant setting
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with residents and staff
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting/carrying objects as required by the role
