Discovery Paralegal Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate directly with lead eDiscovery Counsel on current and future eDiscovery matters and review workflows.
• Conduct legal privilege and responsiveness reviews using platforms such as Relativity, EverLaw, or Adobe Pro.
• Work alongside attorneys and IT support teams to ensure data discoverability across new technologies.
• Perform research to locate and gather material responsive to requests, including conducting outreach and informal interviews.
• Analyze documents and media files to apply redactions to diverse types of privileged information.
• Provide weekly status updates and periodic reports to Assistant General Counsels and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "TOP SECRET" security clearance.
• Two or more years of paralegal experience, specifically including Discovery/eDiscovery workflows.
• Proven experience utilizing eDiscovery review platforms (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw, Arctera, Exterro, DISCO, Reveal, or Nextpoint).
• Successful completion of a Paralegal Studies Certificate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active "TOP SECRET" security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in legal studies or a related field.
• Experience performing substantive reviews on litigation support projects involving both electronic and paper materials.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Working knowledge of legal research tools such as Westlaw or Pacer.
