Responsibilities

• Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for elementary school students
• Design outcome-based lesson plans
• Specify necessary materials for course success
• Arrive at classes punctually
• Create memorable experiences to help children develop a passion for art
• Help children understand the connection between art and personal growth

Requirements

• Experience as an art instructor with deep experience teaching school-age children
• Proven ability to lead own classes
• Ability to create a positive class community and build student relationships
• Strong work ethic and flexible mindset
• Ability to provide at least two references
